At least I didn't want to kill too many people this year, though having...uh, certain
issues didn't help. Anything more than that would be TMI.
I'll admit I'm ambivalent about this being my last year on staff. (Next year I'll be running my table in Artists Alley) Maybe if I have more to sell than the two prints I sold at a friend's table, I'd have made more than $50.
Anyway, I cosplayed Aozaki Touko, and to my surprise someone actually recognised it. She also invited me to cosplay her again at Katsucon with her and the small Kara no Kyokai group she was assembling. I wish I could, but we're gearing up for Tekkocon already.
What Not to Say to Female Otaku was a bigger hit than last year, thanks to us not having to compete with the 'Pirate Hentai Party' which no one seemed to know what that even
was. Luckily, it wasn't an issue this year and we were free to talk about creepers and douches to our hearts' content...or until the panel ended, anyway.
Heck, I'm even surprised that the TYPE-MOON panel I had to throw together at the last minute to fill space after another panel cancelled drew more people than I thought. I wish I had more stuff to have presented, but for a filler, it wasn't too bad and I got to fag about TM as much as I wanted. (And yes, I talked about more than just
Fate...come to think of it, I split most of my time between
Unlimited Codes and
KnK) And I want to borrow Mandy's Saber cosplay for next year.
In an idle moment, I got to watch a little of the Blazblue tournament. What I wouldn't give for a sewing machine and materials...cosplaying Jin looks like it'd be fun.
That's all I can remember for the moment. More to come as my brain cells recharge.
